WISCASSET — Wiscasset High School honored its winter student/athletes at a recent Sports Awards Night.
Female swimmers honored were Abigail Foster (Coaches), Maeve Carlson (Most Improved) and Alyssa Urquhart (Sportsmanship), while the boys were Matthew Mills (Coaches), Kyle Viele (Most Improved) and Camden Reiss (Sportsmanship).
Girls jayvee basketball saw Alecia Faulkingham (Coaches) and Kayla Gordon (Most Improved), while the JV boys had John Rines (Most Improved), Zach Ellison (Coaches) and Logan Grover (Defensive Player).
Varsity girls basketball players included Kayla Connors (MVP), Madeline Wehrle (Most Improved), Briana Goud (Coaches) and Carolyn Footer (Sportsmanship), while boys honored were Devin Grover (Coaches), Jordan Jones (Most Valuable), Caleb Bryant (Most Improved), Jason Weatherbee (Sportsmanship) and Ben Sutter (Sixth Man Award).
Cheerleaders honored included Megan Corson (Coaches), Annalisa Haase (Most Improved), Jordan Wahlstrom (MVP) and Rebecca Moody (Sportsmanship).
Academic All-Stars were James Andretta and Grover (boys basketball), Footer (girls basketball) and Foster (swimming).
