BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Parks and Recreation Department is scheduled to hold fifth- and sixthgrade boys basketball tournaments next weekend.
The eight-team, fifth-grade event kicks off March 16 with Ararat/Greely at 4:30 p.m., followed by Gardiner/River Valley at 5: 45 p. m., Brunswick/ Medomak at 7 p.m. and Auburn-Lewiston/ Gray- New Gloucester at 8 p.m.
The semifinals are set for 9: 30 a. m. and 10: 45 a. m. on March 17 with the championship game at 2:30 p.m.
The seven-team sixth-grade tourney opens on March 17 with Brunswick/Rockland at 4:30 p.m., followed by Ararat A/Our Lady of Hope at 5:45 p.m., Cumberland/Ararat B at 7 p. m. and Pen Bay YMCA/TBA at 8 p.m.
The semifinals are set for March 18 at 11 a.m. and 12:45 p.m., with the title contest at 4 p.m.
