TOPSHAM — Topsham police believe an intruder broke into a Bay Park home but took nothing from the residence.

The burglary at a Loon Drive house was reported by yard workers at about 1:20 p.m. Tuesday, Topsham Police Lt. Christopher Lewis said. The rear door was found forced open but nothing was taken.

Police don’t know when the attempted burglary occurred, but will assign extra patrols to the area, according to Lewis.
