BATH — LifeChurch Midcoast will sponsor four live contemporary Christian bands from 6 to 9:30 p.m., at 45 Floral St., on Saturday , May 3. Admission is free.
First up and emcee is Zealous Zek, a Boston hip hop artist. “Through trial comes character,” Zek said. “Spoiled children get crushed as adults since pain is weakness leaving the body.”
Performing second is Chasing the Light, from Augusta, playing modern alternative music reminiscent of Sanctus Real and Switchfoot, but with a twist.
Third up is The Founded Trio. Formed in 2011 by three Christian independent artists, The Founded Trio has tight harmonies, a Godly message, and a love for reaching communities.
Finally, Exit 244 headlines the evening. One of the most popular bands at SoulJam last summer at Fun town, Exit 244’s mission is simple: bring unity and hope through Christ to audiences everywhere. With a sound uniquely their own and with an energy usually reserved for large sporting events, Exit 244 has exploded on the Christian music scene in Maine.
