GORHAM (AP) — Authorities are investigating another arson fire in Gorham.
Firefighters responded to a fire at a home under construction on Dingley Spring Road on Wednesday night. Investigators say there was no major damage.
It’s the fifth arson in the town in the past two weeks.
Early Wednesday morning, there was a fire at a vacant home on County Road that investigators later determined to be accidental. They say it started in an electrical heater and is not related to the arson investigations.
The Maine Fire Marshal’s Office has sent a team to Gorham to work with Gorham police and fire officials.
Authorities are urging residents to keep a watchful eye on their neighborhoods and report any suspicious activity.
