I enthusiastically support Ralph Tucker for Brunswick’s State Representative for Maine House District 50.
Ralph’s qualifications for serving as our State Representative are obvious. His experience on Brunswick’s school board and council, his tenure as Chair of the State’s Workers Compensation agency, and his distinguished service as a District Court Judge show that he will work constructively with those having a variety of backgrounds and views. This is especially important in the present partisan climate.
But most important to me is Ralph’s strong personal integrity and his commitment to ethical conduct in his personal and professional life. Ralph’s unassailable integrity and ethical character are of the highest importance in a public servant. I therefore gladly support Ralph Tucker for our State Representative, and will happily vote for him in the upcoming Democratic primary.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
