Planned Parenthood Supports Everyone
If Planned Parenthood ceased to exist, my healthcare would not be affected. However, one out of every five women in America has sought the care from Planned Parenthood. Your grandmother, mom, sister, aunt, cousin, friend would be impacted because they would not receive the services they need.
When I was growing up, I was lucky enough that I never had to worry about healthcare. After my divorce, I realized that my worry-free lifestyle was a privilege. Following it, I felt like I was starting my life from scratch when I lost the safety net I had always had.
At some points, I lacked any type of medical coverage. This made me aware of the importance of institutions like Planned Parenthood that provide services to those without a safety net. Planned Parenthood works on an individual level with each patient, providing care and even helping people sign up for insurance through the Affordable Care Act.
Over the years, I’ve been able to donate money to Planned Parenthood. More recently, I’ve switched to donating my time and have met other volunteers and staff. In doing so, I have become so much more aware of how other people live their lives. The service that Planned Parenthood provides is diligent, non-judgmental and caring. I value Planned Parenthood’s mission to support and help everyone, and because of that I will continue to help them in any way that I can.

Trump Will Tell It Like It Is
This country is led by people on both sides with no common sense and who are in it for themselves .maybe Donald Trump has finally woken up the silent majority who have had enough of their crap. It’s time we elect someone who will tell it like it is!

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
