BRUNSWICK — A 23-year-old Brunswick man was charged with operating under the influence and possession of heroin, among other charges, after he crashed into at least two parked cars Saturday night at Goodwin’s Chevrolet on Pleasant Street.
Robert Faulkner, 23, of 408 Bath Road, was driving west on Pleasant Street just after 9:30 p.m. Saturday when witnesses traveling in the eastbound lanes said his car crossed in front of them and crashed into at least two vehicles parked in the Goodwin’s lot, Deputy Chief Marc Hagan of the Brunswick Police Department said today.
Faulkner was charged with operating under the influence, operating after license suspension, unlawful possession of Schedule W drugs — namely heroin — and sale and use of drug paraphernalia, according to Hagan.
Brunswick rescue took Faulkner to Mid Coast Hospital, where he was discharged early Sunday morning, according to a hospital spokesman.
He was taken to Cumberland County Jail and held on $440 bail. Faulkner is scheduled to appear in Cumberland County Superior Court on June 19.
