FREEPORT — L. L. Bean is celebrating spring with its annual Camping Weekend, to be held May 18-20.
A long roster of events, demonstrations and clinics will include Lyme disease prevention, water filtration, Leave No Trace ethics, camp cooking, knot tying and more.
Special interactive events include geocaching adventure hunt, interactive camp sites, build-your-own Swiss Army Knife, climbing wall, kids’ crafts, a live bird-of-prey presentation and Bean canteen water bottle engraving.
Special promotions include savings on a wide variety of camping gear. All event activities are free.
