LISBON — Members of the Lisbon High School Interact Club recently presented a $500 check to co-director Carol Day of the Lisbon Area Christian Outreach (LACO).

The donation was made possible through the Club’s WCSH6 Teens Who Care $2,000 Award.

Students completed 21 local projects and contributed more than 4,000 hours of community service.

LACO is located at the MTM building, 16 School St., in Lisbon Falls. The pantry is open Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m.; Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon; and Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m.

Assistance is available to anyone in need who resides in Bowdoin, Durham and Lisbon.

The Food Pantry operates through the giving of local volunteers from seven area churches.

A community spaghetti supper is planned by LACO on May 19. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.
