BRUNSWICK — Goodwin’s defeated Five Country Credit Union, 15-1 in Cal Ripken baseball action on Saturday.
For Goodwin’s, Scout Masse pitched five shutout innings, striking out 11 batters, while Ethan Boll was solid in relief, striking out five batters. The hits were provided by Scout Masse (2), Ben Israel (2), Adam Nussbaum and Jack Lowell.
For Five County, Thomas Seitz pitched well in relief and the hits were provided by Owen Richardson (2) and Matty Laforge.
On Monday, Goodwin’s beat ServPro 14-2, Noah Goddard pitched three solid innings, striking out nine batters and giving up no runs. Nussbaum struck out five in relief to close it out.
Hits were provided by Nussbaum (3), Goddard, Masse, Deven Cameron, Ben Israel, Andrew Chingos and Brian Cobb.
For ServPro, Isaiah Johnston, Evan Cox and Jack St. Pierre pitched well, with hits coming from Aiden Durkin and Jack St. Pierre.
