“The Shoebox Tour 2012 is a presentation of all new material in the “modern juggling” style — focusing on artistic presentation of virtuosic object manipulation,” a release about the show states.
Gilligan and Peden will present 725 new tricks written for four hands.
Gilligan regularly performs with the top circuses throughout the world, including Cirque du Soleil, Cirkus Cirkör, Cie Jérôme Thomas, and the Gandini Juggling Project.
Peden won the Bronze Medal at the 33rd Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain, a prestigious international circus festival for new performers. He has performed in 17 different countries, including shows for the king and queen of Sweden on three separate occasions. He holds a juggling world record, according to The Guinness Book of World Records.
Tickets to Monday’s performance cost $10 for students or $12 for adults at the door. The school is located at 160 Morrill St.
