BOWDOIN — Sagadahoc County Sheriff ’s Department responded to a crash Tuesday night involving a single vehicle that hit a utility pole on Dead River Road in Bowdoin.
Chief Deputy Brett Strout said Jason Beaulieu, 38, of 238 Post Road, Bowdoinham was driving a 2001 Dodge 2500 pickup truck east on Dead River Road and in the area of 678 Dead River Road, as he came around a corner wide, the vehicle tires traveled into the soft shoulder of the road, causing the truck to leave the roadway and hit and snap a utility pole in half.
