ON MAY 25, Bath Regional Career and Technical Center students assembled their new Culinary Café tables with local artist Duane Patricio. The new tables are the result of multi-program collaboration between culinary ar ts, welding, and commercial ar ts. The BRCTC welding program fabricated 12 table bases, designed by Patricio, for the café. Patricio built wooden tops, and assembled the tables with BRCTC building construction students. Commercial arts students documented the project and will create a photo display. The new tables were celebrated by participating students and their families on May 31 when the culinary arts students prepared and served breakfast. Below, Patricio and iknstructor Mark Merry assemble a table.
