HARPSWELL — The Harpswell Business Association will meet today at Cook’s Lobster House to kick off the summer season.
According to a news release, there will be a special menu for association members and their guests. A meetand greet session starts at 6 p.m. and will be followed by the business meeting at 6:30 p.m. Kim Olsen, state representative for District 64, will be the guest speaker.
The 2012 Map & Guide will be distributed. It contains current contact information and locations for 95 locally owned businesses and nonprofits throughout Harpswell, including Orr’s and Bailey islands, Cundy’s Harbor and Great Island. It also includes a calendar of events and many new features, including the locations of boat landings, hiking trails, libraries, playgrounds, post offices and fire stations.
All interested local businesses are invited to attend.
