BRUNSWICK — Mystery for Hire, a Maine-based mystery dinner theater troupe, will perform “Bingo Spells Murder,” a murder mystery dinner theater performance, Thursday at the Captain Daniel Stone Inn on Water Street.
“The show is headed up by Father Patrick O’Sullivan who is trying to save the orphanage from a big city mobster and some pushy real estate agents who want to take over the building for their own profitable purposes,” Dan Marois, co-owner of Mystery for Hire, said in a release about the show. “There are lots of interesting happenings as the audience members are brought into the action and the guests actually play bingo while solving a crime.”
The cast features Dan Marois of Poland Spring, Julie Poulin of Monmouth, Brian Files of Gardiner and Maine native Bob LeBlanc.
Tickets cost $50 per person, which includes the performance, meal selection, tax and gratuity. A cash bar will be available. Reservations can be made by calling 373-1824. Doors will open at 5:45 p.m., with the show at 6:30 p.m.
