BRUNSWICK — The 10th annual Brunswick Garden Tour will take place from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
The tour will consist of nine Brunswick gardens, several of which have never previously appeared on the tour. All proceeds will benefit Midcoast Youth Theater.
This year’s tour features a stop at the new Harriet Beecher Stowe Elementary School garden.
Another stop is the Tom Settlemire Community Garden on Maurice Drive. The Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust owns and runs the community garden, which offers 70 plots for individual cultivation and a shared garden where plot holders volunteer to raise produce that will be donated to the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program or served at a benefit fall harvest dinner.
Advance tickets cost $10 and are available at the Gulf Of Maine Bookstore on Maine Street. Tickets on the day of the tour cost $12. They will be available at the gazebo on the Brunswick Mall.
Rain date is July 15.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
