LISBON — Abigail Roy, a member of the Lisbon High School Class of 2014, and president of the school’s Interact Club, along with her mom, Heidi Coulombe, and fellow young adult volunteers, Ryder Morlock and Tabby Riendeau, recently presented Community Resource Manager Myra Warner of the Ronald McDonald House in Portland a check for $100 and a donation of several pounds of aluminum can tabs.

The presentation were made possible by school, community and Lewiston-Auburn Rotary donations.

“Please know you have touched all of our hearts with this most thoughtful donation in support of Ronald McDonald House children and families,” said Robin Chibroski, RMH executive director.

The donation from the Interact Club was made possible through an award presented by the WCSH6 Teens Who Care $2,000 Award.

“Club members completed 21 local projects and contributed over 4,000 hours of community service,” said advisor Monica Millhime.

“We are extremely pleased with the service above self our students provided to their school and their community. Students were able to support 11 different non-profit agencies with their award monies,” she added.
