MANCHESTER — For a third year, Hope Baptist Church on Route 202 in Manchester will be bringing well-known Bible teacher and best-selling author Beth Moore via live simulcast on Saturday, Sept. 13.
The event, which is now in its 16th year, both challenges and encourages women to grow deeply in their faith. Join 250,000 women around the world for the live, global, Internet-streaming event on the big screen.
Moore has authored dozens of published Bible studies, books and devotionals specifically for women for nearly two decades. Moore’s organization, Living Proof Ministries, is based out of Houston.
Living Proof Live starts at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 4:15 p.m. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. Tickets are $10 ($15 after Sept. 1), and cover one full day of music by Travis Cottrell, worship sessions lead by Beth Moore, and opportunities for fellowship with other women from around the state. Lunch can be ordered for $5.
Ticket information is available at the church website, www.hbcmanchester.org, by emailing hbc-eventinfo@roadrunner.com or can be purchased online (processing fees will be applied) at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/770536.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
