Wolfe’s Neck Woods State Park offers nature programs on weekends and holidays at 2 pm through September 30th. Most programs start at the circle of benches at the end of the second parking lot unless otherwise noted, and may include walks, talks, and activities in a beautiful natural setting. Come enjoy the park with your family and learn from our knowledgeable and dedicated staff ! Programs last about one hour, weather permitting.
No reservations needed except for group use, and the nature programs are free with park admission. Admission is $1 for ages 5-11; $3 for Maine residents ages 12-64; $4.50 for non-residents ages 12-64; $1.50 for non-residents 65 and older. Persons under 5 and Maine residents 65 and older are free. 9/6 Steamer Dig – Learn about the life and times of the soft-shell clam. Then try your hand at digging this delicacy of the deep mud with an experienced guide. Registration is required, please contact the park.
