FREEPORT — Lincoln Academy left Freeport on Friday with a close 32-29 victory in a jayvee girls basketball game.
Rachel Wall scored eight points in the second half to rally the Falcons in the second half. Wall also had four steals, while Abby Brier was a defensive standout. Hannah Spaulding drained a 3- pointer to give Freeport a chance late.
Annika Thomas played well for the hosts and had six points.
Maisy O’Brien had a game-high 13 points for Lincoln Academy.
The Eagles made 5-of-7 at the free-throw line, while the Falcons missed all six of their attempts.
Freeport visits Morse on Thursday.
