STANDISH — Maine Maritime Academy (1-2) fell to Saint Joseph’s College (4-0), 60-46, in a non-conference contest at the Harold Alfond Center on Saturday afternoon.
The Mariners jumped out to a 10-4 lead before the Monks answered with a 13-0 run for a 17-10 lead.
But, MMA bounced back behind eight points and six rebounds from former Mt. Ararat High School student/athlete Kristi Willey. Mackenzie Vosburgh led the Mariners with 15 points.
MMA returns to action tonight at home against UMaine- Farmington at 5:30 p.m.
