The Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Brunswick recently donated a total of $1,250 to three local charitable organizations that provide shelter and food to individuals and families in need. The donations were made through the company’s charitable foundation, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares.

A $500 donation was presented to Tedford Housing, a nonprofit organization in Brunswick that provides emergency shelter, supportive housing and homelessness prevention services. Another $500 check was presented to Habitat for Humanity 7 Rivers Maine, which provides successful homeownership opportunities for families with limited incomes in Brunswick and the surrounding areas by building sustainable housing and repairing and weatherizing existing homes.

Additionally, a $250 donation was made to the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program, which provides food assistance through its food pantry and soup kitchen.

“Too many people in our community are struggling to afford food, housing and other basic necessities. It is gratifying to be able to provide these donations to help improve the lives of individuals and families who are facing financial hardships and need our support,” said Jon Finch, managing broker of the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Brunswick.

Affiliated sales associates and employees in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island donate a portion of their sales commissions or paychecks to Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares, which supports nonprofit organizations throughout New England. Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares’ primary purpose is to raise funds to provide financial assistance to housing related causes in local communities.
