THE BRUNSWICK HIGH SCHOOL boys varsity soccer team recently dedicated some of its practice time to helping the Cathance River Education Alliance. Head coach Mark Roma and his team performed a variety of tasks on the Cathance Preserve Trail System, as well as in and around the Cathance River Ecology Center. Cheryl Sleeper, Director of Site Support at the ecology center, came away impressed by the players’ work ethic and attitude. “They really accomplished a lot in a short amount time and we appreciated their efforts,” lauded Sleeper. “We would like to continue this next year and start a tradition.”
