RICHMOND — Sadie Gosse scored two goals and assisted on three others to lead Richmond High School to an East-West Conference girls soccer win over Vinalhaven on Tuesday.
The Bobcats are now 6-0 and set to visit Buckfield on Thursday.
Noell Acord had a big afternoon with four goals, while Emily Leavitt, Kelsea Anair and Marlena Carter chipped in with a goal each.
Kayla Beaulieu and Kayla Clark added an assist apiece for Richmond, which led in shots 27-4 and corner kicks 10-1.
Kelsi Obi and Ciarra Lancaster combined on one save, and Vinalhaven (0-4) netminder Ashley Hamilton was busy with 14 stops in the loss.
Autumn Acord and Chika Obi were standouts in the win.

Miracle Trimble tallied four goals as the Shipbuilders (4-1-1) picked up their fourth consecutive Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference win at Newcastle.
Brianna Williams and Paige Martin each picked up a goal and dished out an assist, while Sophie Sreden assisted on a Trimble goal with four seconds remaining until halftime for a 3-0 Morse lead.
Sadia Crosby had one save for the shutout, while Lincoln Academy (0-6-1) netminder Miranda Achorn had 10 stops.
The Shipbuilders are slated to host Mt. View on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.

Host Lawrence defeated Mt. Ararat in overtime in KVAC play Tuesday in Topsham.
Ali Tozier scored first for the Bulldogs.
Maddison Prescott tied the game off a feed from Christine Levesque for Mt. Ararat to send the game to overtime, but Marissa Paquette put home the gamewinning goal with 35 seconds remaining in the first OT.
Lauren Williams made six saves for the hosts, while Paige Belanger made seven stops for the visitors.
Mt. Ararat fell to 4-2 and is scheduled to host Skowhegan on Saturday.

Brunswick improved to 7-0 with a KVAC win over the Witches on Tuesday.
Three goals each were scored by Rachel Moroney and Paige Tetu, while Anna Cowan added a score and four assists. Tetu chipped in two helpers, while Moroney had one assist.
Brunswick led in shots, 23-5, with goaltender Haley Murano making five saves and Brewer’s Glory Watson getting seven stops.
“A good competitive game by both teams in the wet conditions,” said Brunswick coach Martyn Davison. “And, I thought Anna Cowan, Paige Tetu and Rachel Moroney had outstanding games today.”
The win sets up a showdown with topranked Bangor Friday (3:30 p.m.) as the No. 2 Dragons travel up I-95.

Shania Marr, Kasey Cromwell and Maeve Carlson each scored a goal as the Wolverines ended a three-game winless streak with an MVC win on Friday at Wiscasset.
Marr converted a pass from Alecia Faulkingham 7:34 into the game for a 1-0 Wiscasset lead at the half.
The Wolverines extended their advantage with a pair of tallies three-minutes apart. Cromwell finished off a setup from Maddy Wehrle, and Carlson’s goal was unassisted with 19:04 remaining.
Wiscasset netminder Kayla Gordon had two saves for the shutout, while Courtney Carrier turned aside six shots for 1-4-1 Telstar.

On Monday, visiting Wiscasset received three goals from Sarah Hanley en route to an MVC victory.
Cromwell scored the first goal and assisted on two more, including a tally by Marr to give the 5-2-1 Wolverines, who visit Mt. Abram on Friday, a 2-0 lead at the half. Wehrle added a penalty kick goal late in regulation to complete the scoring, and Gordon turned aside eight shots.
Boothbay (1-6) netminder McKayla McEthridge had 12 stops.
