BATH — The Chocolate Church ART Gallery at 804 Washington St., presents “Autumn Feast,” an exhibit, beginning tonight, with an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. The show will run through Nov. 3.
The visions and interpretations of 10 local artists will be on display.
“Breaking bread after the harvest and sharing a feast is an archetypal activity,” a news release from the gallery stated. “This show will feature a series pedestals, chairs and a long harvest table up the center space. Each table will be set with different ceramic artists’ dinnerware and vases. The walls will feature contemporary autumn themed paintings, pastels, encaustics and photographs.”
The work of the following artists will be included in the show: Anne Alexander (ceramic sculptures), Ed McCarton (paintings), Peter Turner (furniture), Lois Strickland (paintings), Elizabeth Newman (paintings), Richard Lauck (iron candlesticks), Anne Macleod (pastels), Bob Delaney (photography), Sara Cox (pottery), Matthew deWolff Ahlers (pottery) and kdb-Karen Dominguez (encaustic).
