When men are diagnosed with prostate cancer, there is too often a rush to treatment. For men whose cancer falls into certain specific guidelines, there can be “active surveillance.”
Michael Mahan will present “Active Surveillance: What is it? Is it right for you?” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15. Admission is free. The talk, sponsored by Bath-Brunswick Area Prostate Support Group, will take place at Mid Coast Hospital. For more information, call 1-(855) 552-7200, ext. 800.
