LEWISTON — The board of directors of Androscoggin Bank recently announced that two well-known Maine business leaders, Wendy Bean and Jean Mattimore, have joined the board.
Bean is a CPA practicing in Manchester, where she specializes in the taxation of individuals, trusts and estates. She has had a career in tax and trust management in Maine and New Hampshire, and has served in a variety of community service and volunteer roles.
She is a graduate of Thomas College.
Mattimore is a resident of Portland, and was most recently the executive director of the Center for Career Development for the Maine Community College System. She has had a career in insurance, education and state government — serving as commissioner of Finance for the state from 1987 to 1989. She also currently serves on the board of trustees for Maine Maritime Academy.
