The Yellow Dot is a free program designed to help first responders provide life-saving medical attention in the first minutes after an accident or medical emergency, by gaining valuable life-saving information from within your vehicle. The yellow dot sticker on a car tells the responders vital information about the passengers is stored in the glove box. Treatment within the first “golden hour” is critical after any accident.
Starting Feb. 7, People Plus will become an enrollment site for this program. They will distribute kits that contain enrollment materials.
Enrollment in this program is available at People Plus the first Thursday of every month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. They encourage applicants to bring in a recent photo (shoulders and above) with them as they register.
For more information, contact People Plus at 729-0757.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
