LISBON FALLS — The Sugg Middle School girls soccer notched its second victory in a row, defeating Hall Dale 3-1 on Tuesday.
It was a rainy day, but the ’Hounds lit up the afternoon on the field.
Sweeper Sydney Douglass and stopper Sarah Daigle played well and stopped nearly every attempt from the opponent to get close to Sugg’s goal. Fullback Ciera Miller kicked several balls away from the goal, and Zoe Feehan did a good job stopping things down the right side of the field.
Midfielders Chandler Riordan and Amanda Storman stood out.
All three goals were scored in the first half with Emma Houle, Conchita Thomas and Riordan delivering a score each.
Sugg’s next game is on Monday at home against Gardiner.
