BATH — Patten Free Library will host a presentation by Bowdoin resident and Apple Computer executive Jim Moulton.
“Self-Publication in the Digital Age Via iPad, Mac or PC: Yes, You Can!” is free, open to the public, and will be held in the library’s second-floor Community Room at 4:30 p.m. Feb. 12.
No pre-registration is required.
“Everyone has a story,” says Moulton, “It could be the story of your family’s arrival in Maine, or the time Aunt Sally went out to feed the chickens and came face-toface with a moose in the backyard.”
Participants will leave with a host of ideas, and be assured it does not take a “technowhiz” to self-publish.
Prior to joining Apple in September 2009, Moulton spent nine years as an independent educational technology, according to a news release from the library.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
