GEORGETOWN — The Georgetown Island Education Foundation ended its second successful year helping enhance the resources of the Georgetown Central School, the group said in a news release.
With a special emphasis on math, science and technology, the Foundation sponsored its first annual Adult Spelling Bee fundraiser and raised almost $2,000.
The Foundation plans a midwinter trivia night on Jan. 19, 2013. For more information, visit www.giefme.org.
