Elizabeth Ann Walton “Beth”, 61, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, after a long illness.

She was born August 11, 1955 in Wakefield, RI, the daughter of Elizabeth A. Walton and the late Joseph A. Walton. Beth was a 1973 graduate of Oliver Ames High School in Easton, MA, and a 1977 graduate of Fitchburg State College with a BS degree in Nursing. She was an R.N. and worked as a home health nurse in Boston and Maine for many years.

Beth was a natural caregiver and dedicated her life to taking care of others both in her career as a nurse and as a wife, friend, daughter and mother. She particularly loved animals and took in many strays during her life. She enjoyed reading, gardening, going to the beach in Maine, and spending time with family & friends.

Beth is survived by her daughter Elizabeth “Liz” Anderson (Carl) of St. Petersburg, FL; mother Elizabeth A. Walton of Punta Gorda, FL and Plymouth, MA; sisters Mary Ellen Walton of Stoughton, MA; Patricia J. (Steve) Duncan of Parrish FL; brother Joseph P. (Janine) Walton of South Easton, MA; nieces Sarah, Sophie, Sadie, & Josie; nephew Andrew; uncle Reginald (Shirley) Gadrow; aunt Mary (Edwin) Boynton; many cousins and her beloved cat Moggie.

Beth is preceded by the recent death of her father Joseph A. Walton.

Memorial donations may be made in Beth’s name to the Coastal Humane Society in Brunswick, ME or to the ASPCA.
