BATH — The public is invited to an opening reception for Maine Maritime Museum’s 50th Anniversary Exhibit, 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 9.
The culminating event of the museum’s 50th anniversary, an exhibit featuring the best of the museum’s collection, opens Nov. 10 and will be on view through May 26, 2013. “Ahead Full at Fifty: 50 Years of Collecting at Maine Maritime Museum,” will showcase objects that are historically important, rare in beauty, or have an unusual acquisition.
