BATH — Local supporters of Middle East Children’s Alliance will host the organization’s founder and director, Barbara Lubin, on Nov. 10.
The Middle East Children’s Alliance is a nonprofit organization working for the rights of children in the Middle East. Lubin will be the featured speaker at an event including Middle Eastern food and music from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10 at the United Church of Christ, 150 Congress Ave.
Two years ago, supporters in the Bath-Brunswick area raised more than $9,000 through the group to build a water treatment unit at a kindergarden in Rafah.
