
He was born in Bath on October 2, 1958, a son of Lloyd G. and Louise M. (Stilphen) Merrill. He attended Woolwich Central and Bath Junior High School. Harold was a self employed worm digger and also did some carpentry.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all, especially his sister, as he was her hero. He had a heart of gold and would give the shirt off his back for anyone.
He was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Louise Merrill.
Harold is survived by three brothers, Michael L. Merrill and his wife Annette of Warren, Donald D. Merrill of Woolwich and Timothy A. Merrill and his wife Lori of Wiscasset, one sister, Terri L. Streevey of West Bath, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bath Area Food Bank, P.O. Box 65, Bath, 04530 or to the American Cancer Society, 1 Bowdoin Mill Island, Suite 300, Topsham, 04086.
