Brunswick police say a man hit by a sport utility vehicle while crossing Mill Street Sunday night has died from his injuries.
Brunswick police say Caleb Maxham, 20, of Warren, was crossing Mill Street from the southern shoulder in an area where there was no crosswalk when he was struck by a westbound Chevrolet Equinox driven by Kyle Feltis, 31, of Brunswick.
According to police, Maxham was wearing dark clothing and the area was dimly lit.
He was transported to Maine Medical Center where he was pronounced dead Monday morning.
The collision is still being investigated by Brunswick police.
