
She was born in Auburn, Maine, Jan. 27, 1936, a daughter of the late Glendon and Shirley (Marshall) Nichols who were her loving caregivers until their death.
She enjoyed craft fairs, tole painting and especially loved her dog “Little Mac.”
Joanne is survived by her sister Sandra Drehobl of Brunswick, who she made her home with for over 15 years; 3 nephews: David Drehobl of Brunswick, Dale Drehobl of Brunswick, Daniel Drehobl and his wife Margaret of San Diego; 3 great nephews and nieces: Zachary, Ezra and Isabel. She was predeceased by her parents.

She was laid to rest between her loving parents at Gracelawn Memorial Park in Auburn. You can make donations in Joanne’s memory to the Brunswick Humane Society, 3 Range Road, Brunswick, ME 04011.
