MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS: The Southern Midcoast Maine Chamber’s third annual Hacker’s Ball Golf Tournament is Friday, May 8 at the Brunswick Golf Club, 165 River Road, Brunswick. Proceeds benefit the chamber’s various education initiatives that reinvest in our businesses and communities.

Tournament sign-in on May 8 begins at 8 a.m. and the scramble format with shotgun start tees off at 9 a.m.

Brunswick Golf Club hosts an 18-hole championship golf course, wonderfully maintained with tree-lined fairways and immaculate greens. Golf tournament participants will also enjoy raffles for great local prizes, breakfast, lunch, and appetizers, and longest drive, closest to the pin, and putting and chipping contests.

At a special challenge hole sponsored by Northern Benefits and LeaderBoard of Boston, participants can also purchase a chance to launch their ball with the LeaderBoard AirCannon for a chance to win a seven-night stay for two at one of RCI’s 3,000 resorts.

The Hacker’s Ball tourney is produced by the chamber’s young professionals networking group, Midcoast Edge. The “Edge” is open to any individual roughly ages 21 to 40-plus who lives or works in the southern Mid-coast Maine area and is looking to make personal and professional contacts.
