BOWDOINHAM’S HOLIDAY FESTIVAL concluded Saturday with a Polar Bear Dip into the Cathance River. About a dozen people took the plunge to raise money for local organizations. Bowdoinham EMS raised more than $500 and Rep. Seth Berry, D-Bowdoinham, raised about $1,200 for the new skate park planned in town. Northeast Ambulance raised money for an automated external defibrillator for the senior center in Richmond and had one sponsor alone who pledged $500.
