BRUNSWICK
Brunswick police say no children were aboard a school bus rear-ended at the Cook’s Corner intersection Tuesday afternoon.
Reported at 4:33 p.m., Deputy Chief Marc Hagan said a school bus belonging to School Administrative District 75, driven by Yvonne Ellwell, was slowing in traffic as it attempted to turn left from Bath Road heading toward Route 1 and was hit from behind by a 2011 Toyota passenger car driven by Antonio Dipietro, 44, of Sabattus. There were no students on the school bus, Hagan said.
No one was injured and no charges were issued. The car sustained front-end damage.
