A water main broke at Brunswick Landing near the Brunswick Parks and Recreation Department building on Sunday.
The break caused water pressure issues or a lack of water for the entire Brunswick Landing campus. The problem persisted into Monday as crews worked to repair the damaged water main.
“We have crews on site, they’ve been on site as of yesterday and last night and today, to fix the problem,” said Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority Executive Director Steve Levesque.
Many businesses and organizations located at Brunswick Landing were closed on Monday, and Southern Maine Community College Midcoast Campus cancelled all classes before 4 p.m.
Levesque expected the water main to be repaired at some point on Monday.
