WHITEFIELD — Barbara Louise Wright, 64, of Hollywood Blvd., died Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

She was born in Gorham on October 24, 1948, a daughter of George “Robert” Sr. and Eva Louise (Mains) Berry.

She attended Portland schools and married Norman Byrnes Sr. She was employed at Rynel Factory in Boothbay and married Kenwood Wright Jr. She was then employed for Employment Services of Maine Homecare for many years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Kenwood Wright Jr. on July 15, 1992.

She is survived by her life partner, Robert M. Lane of Whitefield, two sons, Norman Byrnes Jr. of Auburn and Christopher Byrnes and his wife Wendy of Nobleboro, one daughter, Tina M. Golden and her husband Shawn of Wiscasset, two step daughters, Tammy Wright of Wiscasset and Michelle Wright of Whitefield, two brothers, John Berry and his wife Beverly of Hollis and George Berry of Windham, three sisters, Debbie Thomas and her husband David of Freeport, Elsie Stinson of Wiscasset and Brenda Bailey of Wiscasset, 11 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, Dec. 10, 10 AM to 12 PM at the First Baptist Church in Alna with a celebration of life to follow at 12 PM. A gathering will follow at the church.
