JAY — Edwin Thompson a former professional player, current Division I assistant coach and former head coach at Bates College is scheduled to run a baseball clinic on Dec. 16 at Spruce Mountain High School.
The clinic will have two sessions. The first session will go from 9 a.m. to noon; the second session from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for players ages 7-13.
The cost for the camp is $35 for one session or $45 for both. Space is limited and will have 30-40 spots available in each session.
Instruction will include the proper techniques of hitting, pitching, catching, infield, outfield, base running and team defense.
There is also going to be competitions situations. College and high coaches will help instruct the camp.
