BRUNSWICK — Gelato Fiasco will hold its second annual Scoop-a-Thon on Wednesday, April 24, to benefit the Brunswick Teen Center.
The confectionary and coffee shop at 74 Maine St. will donate 100 percent of sales beyond the seasonal average for that day to the teen center at 35 Union St. operated by People Plus.
More than $3,300 was raised last year, with more than 900 people participating. One dish or gelato pint was served every 46 seconds for the entire 12-hour event, according to marketing director Bobby Guerrette.
Store hours will be from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m.
