CHANS lines up Friday blood pressure clinic
BRUNSWICK — CHANS Home Health Care will offer a free blood pressure clinic from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at Pejepscot Terrace, 36 Pejepscot Terrace.
Rides are available to the blood pressure clinic and to other health-related appointments by calling 729-0757 People Plus’ VTN Program.
Free college planning pointers offered
BATH — The Maine Educational Opportunity Center will host free workshops titled “Essentials of College Planning” for adults age 19 and older at the following times and locations:
— 10 a.m., Dec. 6 and Dec. 20, Midcoast Center for Higher Education, 9 Park St., Bath.

Four-day Big Apple junket leaves Dec. 2
BATH — The Bath Area Senior Citizens will sponsor a four- day trip to New York City, departing on Dec. 2.
The package includes tours of Manhattan, Times Square, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, three nights lodging, three breakfasts and three dinners.
