BRUNSWICK (AP) — Acadian redfish is being featured at local restaurants and retailers as part of an effort to promote underutilized seafood species in the Gulf of Maine.

Bowdoin College and L.L. Bean employee dining service are taking part in the Gulf of Maine Research Institute’s “Out of the Blue” promotion through May 19, aiming to raise demand for redfish, dogfish, whiting and pollock.
