ON NOV. 12, Now You’re Cooking and Mae’s Cafe teamed up to host an evening of wine tasting and appetizer sampling to raise money and awareness for the installation of a synthetic turf field at the McMann Field complex. The Fields For Our Future Committee raised more than $9.000 through the sale of commemorative bricks and via a silent auction. The committee also collected more than 100 nonperishable food items and cash for the Bath Mobile Food Truck. To purchase a brick, visit www.Fields4OurFuture.com or pick up a brochure at Mae’s Cafe, Now You’re Cooking, Dot’s Ice Cream and the Bath Parks and Recreation Department. In this photo, Katie Winglass of Mae’s Café and Mike Fear of Now You’re Cooking show off samples of the bricks.
