BATH — It’s the longest running “cash mob” in the state.

At 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 20, people will gather under the clock at Front and Center streets before descending on a local retailer and “mobbing” it with sales. Later, “mobsters” can socialize with friends at a nearby restaurant.

“Mobsters” are asked to spend a minimum of $20 in cash. The effort is part of a nationwide campaign to support small, locally owned businesses.
