
Louis and Dorothy are both retired. Dorothy worked as a waitress, while Louis retired as a Coast Guard master chief and he also worked for the New England Telephone Co.
The couple have six children. They include Louis “Zoo” Cousineau of Portland, Florence Lebel of Brunswick, Dorothea Edmondson of Topsham, Robert Cousineau of Topsham, Roger Cousineau of Key West, Fla., and Linda Norton (deceased).
They also have 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
An anniversary celebration was held Dec. 4 at the home of their daughter, Florence. All of their surviving children were present, as well as many of the grand and great-grandchildren. All of Dorothy’s surviving siblings were also in attendance.
